In this day and age, when delivering differentiated instruction with multimodalities should be the norm in every classroom, a technology like H5P is priceless.
“What is H5P?” you ask. H5P is a free open-source collaboration application which allows users to easily create interactive class content and share what they have made in their browser via HTML5.
But you don't know how to code?
No problem.

The H5P application interface has many of the same user-friendly tools as most design applications. The HTML5 coding is all done for you via H5P. Course content can be uploaded as placed or linked files. Interactive elements can be added to increase student learning such as formative and summative assessments. When finished, your end product can be linked for content delivery to an online classroom or displayed with the provided hyperlinks. One great feature is the storage is cloud-based. But wait, there's more, this all comes to you at one great low price of: free! This is one unbelievable tool with too many capacities to list.
H5P is a fantastic tool for delivering multimodalities of instruction which can cater to the learning needs of each student. I found two helpful videos to get me started with the interface and formulating my own interactive quiz on a video presentation.

Removing or editing questions is as simple as clicking on the specific keyframe represented on the timeline and using the pop-up tools. I appreciate the broad range of options for content delivery. For example, one can chose what type of quiz format, when a question will appear, and whether the video will pause. The only limitation is the use of a computer to deliver course content.
Sign up and give it a try.
